Home Minister Ravi Naik, who is adamant on not handing over the police-drug nexus case to CBI, is however ready to hand over the Nadia Torrado death case to the federal agency.
Speaking to reporters in the assembly, Naik said, that if the former minister Mickky Pacheco wants he can hand over Nadia case to CBI.
“If Mickky wants I can hand over the case to CBI,” Naik said. Incidentally, his son’s name constantly figures in drug nexus case.
Mickky has demanded in the assembly that the drug case be handed over to the CBI.
Naik denied there was any political interference in the Nadia death case. “We have given free hand to police and there is no political interference.”
