Whilst AAP’s victory was not unexpected, the margin by which they decimated the BJP came as a pleasant surprise. The arrogance projected on TV by BJP’s spokesmen, Nalin Kohli and Sambit Patra was humbled by the AAP.
Somewhere in this victory is a lesson to be learnt and learnt fast by us living in Goa and I must congratulate your paper for initiating the process. I would also like to suggest that you utilise your TV arm to highlight everyday issues through open debates whereby the residents are kept posted daily on the status of cases being investigated, government functioning etc. Goa needs to change and together we can! Nay together we must.
