Corporation Bank holds SME meet The SME Mega Expo being held.

B B Tejappa, circle general manager inaugurated the expo.  25 SMEs showcased their products at the expo.  Financial institutions like LIC, CARE, CRISIL, UTI Mutual Funds, Vehicle dealers – Toyota and Chowgule Industries also participated in the expo 
An SME meet was also organized, which was presided over by the bank’s executive director, A L Daultani. B M Prabhudessai, president of FMCG and Telecom Association, Chemists and Druggists Association and Goa IT Business Association, was the chief guest.
Circle GM, B B Tejappa was present on the occasion. Around 150 small and medium entrepreneurs, attended the meeting and took active part in the deliberations.  Executive director in his presidential address, emphasized the need for building a strong capital base for SME’s, for generating higher volumes and raising adequate finance. He handed over credit sanction letters to 11 SME beneficiaries on the occasion. 
Robert Menezes, deputy GM and zonal head welcomed the gathering.  H D Mahaveer, deputy zonal head gave a presentation on the SME Schemes and concessions offered during the SME monsoon bonanza.  The rating agency, CRISIL made a presentation on necessity of rating for SMEs and the benefits they would secure from getting their units rated.  Delia A Dias, chief manager, marketing and retail sales, Goa Zone, compered the meet and K Shiva Sharma, chief manager, Margao Branch, proposed the vote of thanks.
