MARGAO: A triple strike by striker Cannut Fernandes helped hosts United Club of Benaulim to rout Santa Cruz Boys 5-0 and march into the final of Benaulim inter-ward football tournament organized by United Club of Benaulim at Ximbumoll ground, Benaulim, Wednesday. UC Benaulim led 1-0 at half time.
United Club of Benaulim dominated the game and broke the deadlock soon after the kick off when striker Cannut bulged the net off a pass from Clinton Fernandes.

Post resumption, United Club of Benaulim were in full cry and they demolished the rival fragile defence with ease. Cannut doubled the lead with snap shot. Spurred by the double cushion, United Club of Benaulim galvanized the attacks and Cannut registered his hat-trick.
