MARGAO: Property worth Rs 2,70,000 was burgled from a house at Gogol, Margao on Tuesday. The victim Maria S M, wife of Sebastiao Bonifacio Pereira, a resident of Housing Board, Gogol, complained to Margao police that some unknown persons entered into her house by breaking the door locks and further broke opened the cupboard from the bedroom and decamped with two gold bangles, one gold fat bangle, one gold chain, one silver set of chain, earring and bangles, eight finger rings, ten pairs of gold ear rings, one gold set of earring, pendant and finger ring, cash of Rs 27,000, wrist watches of Titan make, Carvel Quarts and Sekonva, one sweater and a camera, all worth around Rs 2,70,000.
