PANJIM: The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Panjim, on April 20 will hear the final arguments on the petition filed by Adv Aires Rodrigues seeking a Court monitored investigation into last November 27 attack on him.
As directed by the Court, the Crime Branch Inspector Dattaguru Sawant remained present in Court and submitted his reply stating that the case was being investigated properly.
However, Adv Rodrigues has been submitting to the Court that the politically very influential accused who attacked him are being shielded by the police with no action having been taken despite several months having elapsed.
