NUVEM: Fatorda Veterans got the better of Quepem Veterans 3-1 to move into the final of the Nuvem Veterans inter-village football tournament, organised by Nuvem veterans, at Nuvem church ground, on Friday.
Fatorda’s Francis Andrade who provided the two assists for scoring goals to Francisco Colaco who was served on the platter to open the account in the fifth minute and then later to double the lead in the 16th minute.
Francis sent in a long ball to Tony Crasto who scored 3-0 for Fatorda in the 36th minute. Krishna Shirodkar pulled a goal back for Quepem in the 40th minute.
Fatorda Veterans will now meet Nuvem Veterans in the final on October 13.
