MAPUSA: Anjuna Gymkhana Sports Club registered a hard fought solitary goal win over Mandopa SC, Navelim to enter the final of the Nerul Golden Jubilee Cup inter-village football tournament, organised by Nerul SC and played at Nerul ground, on Thursday.
Mandopa goalkeeper Selvin Gomes brought off a superb save to deny Faheez Muhammad from close range.
Finally in 53rd minute, Anjuna scored the winning goal though Pavan Dhargalkar off a cross by Pratik Dhargalkar, 1-0.
Faheez Mohammad of Anjuna Gymkhana bagged the Man-of-the-Match award.
