PERNEM: Pernem Police on Monday arrested Luis Martins and Ester Martins, accused of allegedly assaulting Tuem resident Vidhyadhar Naik and his wife.
The two were arrested from their residence in Tuem. Pernem Police had registered Luis Martins, Ester Martins and another person under Sections 441, 324, 323, 504 and 562 (34)IPC.

It may be recalled that on June 11, wife of Vidhyadhar, a resident of Tuem had filed complaint against Luis, Ester and another person for allegedly trespassing into the house of the complainant and for assaulting Vidhyadhar with the common intention to kill him over previous enmity.
