Advocate Pratima Coutinho has strongly criticized the Public Works Department (PWD) and local elected representatives for failing to address the deteriorating condition of roads at Nagmodem junction in the Navelim constituency.
Coutinho said the neglected roads pose a serious risk to commuters and reflect a lack of accountability among authorities responsible for infrastructure maintenance.

She urged officials to take immediate action to repair the damaged stretches, stressing that residents have been raising complaints for months without any response.
“The PWD and our representatives cannot ignore the hardships faced by people every day due to these dangerous roads,” Coutinho said.
