NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Tuesday adjourned to September 19 hearing on the petition of Tarun Tejpal (55), former editor-in-chief of Tehelka magazine, for bail in the alleged rape case of 2013.
The Bench of Justices A K Sikri and Ashok Bhushan agreed to the counsel’s prayer for adjournment of the case in which Tejpal has sought directions to the Mapusa trial court and challenged rejection of his bail plea by the Goa Bench of the Bombay High Court on December 20.
Tejpal allegedly sexually assault on a young colleague on Nov 7, 2013.
