PANJIM: Nearly 40-odd Class XII students, who were stranded in various parts of the country due to the COVID lockdown and were unable to answer the final three Board papers, now have an opportunity to answer the supplementary examination, which will be held from August 6.
As per the circular that has been issued to all Heads of Higher Secondary Schools; GBSHSE said that the practical examination will be held from July 27.

“The stranded students, due to lockdown and unable to answer the examination from May 20 to May 22, may also appear for the examination as a one-time measure,” GBSHSE secretary Bhagirath Shetye said in the circular.
Students, who have already cleared the Board examination but desire to improve their subject scores can also register for the supplementary exams.
The Board has made it clear that no fresh students will be allowed to answer the supplementary examination, but only those who have answered Board examination previously.
The examination to be held across eight centres, will conclude on August 13.
While it is mandatory for students, appearing for examination to wear mask, the candidates have also been directed to get themselves checked from the Health Centres before answering the paper.
