MARGAO: Ishita Colaso is poised for a double crown having reached finals in Girls U-13 and U-15 categories, at the MCC All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, held at multipurpose stadium, Fatorda. The tournament is organised by Margao Cricket Club in aegis with the Goa Table Tennis Association.
In U-13 girls semis, Ishita, the top seed, registered a comfortable 3-0 win over Aayushi Amonkar to set up a title clash with Kavyaa Khalap who registered a 3-0 win over Sachi Dessai.

Earlier in the quarters, Ishita beat Ira Nadkarni 3-0, Aayushi beat Gianna George 3-1, Kavya beat Samaira Verlekar 3-0 and Sachi edged out Aarna Lotlikar 3-2. In U-15 girls section, top seed Neeza Kamat registered a commanding 3-0 win over Sanisha Sinha. She will meet Ishita Colaso who upset second seed Pradnya Caro 3-0 in the other semi-final.
In U-15 girls, Shreya Phadte, Ananya Srivastava, Priyasha Nadodkar and Roma Ghantker registered impressive performances to reach the quarter-finals before bowing out.
