The joint raid by officials of Narcotics Control Bureau, Food and Drugs Administration, and Anti Narcotics Cell was essentially to crackdown on possible sale of drugs and other banned substances like gutka and tobacco.
Five kiosks outside St Xavier College of Commerce, Arts and Science Mapusa, three kiosks outside Ponda Educational Society College at Farmagudi and one kiosk within the premises of Goa Engineering College, also in Farmagudi were raided, Friday.
