As of now they are basically a socially active group that is involved in helping the locals with many of their problems, explains Shawn Martins, a member of the group.
The group says that they are thinking of getting into garbage cleaning seeing the mess. The jump is from a group actively involved in social service like helping filling forms for government schemes and the like, to taking to the beaches and the streets to remove the muck.

They pick up garbage every Sunday from 6:30 am to 8:30 am, says Felly Gomes, a local volunteer.
Dry and wet waste is put into garbage collecting vehicles at Parra. The rest is given to scrap yards.
According to Felly, this is a volunteer-driven group whose numbers keep increasing as they are also on social networking site promoting the campaign.
R Chauhan also a part of the group has played a large part in designing the campaign and also gets gloves, garbage bags, etc for the morning task. They are planning to expand the group by increasing the strength of volunteers, through different forms of campaigning.
