MARGAO: Curtorim Veterans shunted out Joe Cookies, Loutolim 5-4 via the tie-breaker to march into the final of all-Goa Joao Manuel and Joseph Fernandes memorial inter-village football tournament, organized by Sun Moon Stars Veterans, Chandor, at church ground, on Sunday. There was no score at full time.
In the ensuing penalty shoot-out, Sebastiao Vaz, Sebastiao Fernandes, Honarato Mascarenhas, Mario Pereira and Paris Antao were on target for Curtorim Veterans while Remmy Colaco, Bento Rodrigues, Menino Mascarenhas and Derrick Pinto found the mark for Joe Cookies, Loutolim.
Menino Mascarenhas was adjudged man-of-the-match.
