MAPUSA: The Candolim villagers have alleged that the North Goa Planning and Development Authority is targeting them by issuing notices that their structures are illegal and will be demolished.
The Candolim villagers also confronted NGPDA officials during a site inspection at Candolim in survey num 116/4 belonging to a local Roshan Mathais who had all permissions.
When locals confronted member secretary R K Padita, he said the inspection was held based on a complaint received from a Candolim resident.
and that the NGPDA was unaware that the structure had all the permissions.
“I am surprised that this structure has all the necessary permissions. I will place my observations before the authorities in a meeting and then will decide on our future course of action,” he said.
