RBI down Indian Oil

PANJIM: RBI won by 5 runs over Indian Oil in the Goa Corporate League, at Goa Cricket Academy ground, on Wednesday. 
RBI won the toss and elected to bat. They scored 216 for 6 in their 20 overs. Pranay Sharma and Sumit Gadigoankar opened the batting for RBI. The duo put up a 89-run partnership to give the team a steady foundation. Pranay scored 41 off 27 balls before being sent back to the pavilion by Khizar Defedar. 
Sumit went on to score a century. The Indian Oil bowlers+ put in a decent effort as Kunj Sharma scalped 3 wickets while Avesh Khan picked 2 wickets.
In reply, Indian Oil scored 211 for 8. Opener Ankush Singh scored 62 off 35 balls after falling to Kuldeep Hooda’s brilliance. Yashasvi Jaiswal fell short of 2 runs for a half century as he was sent back to the pavilion by Amit Mishra. 
The RBI put a formidable performance to restrict the opposition as Amit Mishra picked up 3 wickets while Kuldeep Hooda scalped 2 wickets. 
Sumit Gadigoankar was awarded the Player-of-the-Match for his knock.    
Meanwhile in another match, Reliance One won by 5 wickets over Air India.
