Calangute Police on Friday arrested a 27-year-old man from Assam for allegedly possessing suspected ganja valued at approximately Rs 56,000.
Authorities said the arrest was made during routine checks in Calangute. Further investigation into the case is currently underway to determine the source and intended distribution of the contraband.
