Woman found murdered at Arambol

A young woman was found murdered at Girkarwado beach at Arambol on Friday evening.
According to reports, locals had seen the woman along with two non-Goan youth at a restaurant in Arambol beach sometime at about 2 pm.
At about 7 pm, fishermen noticed the two youth fleeing from the site and locals were startled to find the semi-nude woman lying dead near a hut. Her throat was slit with an electricity wire.
Pernem police rushed to the site and found the electricity wire and a condom near the body.
The body has been sent for an autopsy at the Goa Medical College Hospitals, Bambolim and efforts are on to identify the deceased. PI Uttam Raut Dessai is investigating the case.
