KIRBHAT -NUVEM: Betalbatim Sporting Club edged past PAX of Nagoa 2-1 to enter into the semi-finals of the Parish Youth Cup inter-village football tournament, organised by Parish Youth Nuvem, at Jesus Mary and Joseph Church ground, Nuvem, on Monday.
Betalbatim Sporting scored through Savan Lotlikar in the first minute. In the 30th minute, Clifford Miranda doubled the lead for Betalbatim to make it 2-0.
As the match progressed, in the 65th minute, PAX of Nagoa pulled a goal back through Wilson Fernandes.
Betalbatim’s Klusner was adjudged as the man-of-the-match.
