MARGAO: The Margao New Market Traders Association has filed a complaint against the ‘Tupkar’ community traders hailing from Gujarat for spoiling the name of the Gandhi and New Market by hawking and selling duplicate goods.
The President of the New Market Association Vinod Shirodkar has handed over a complaint to the Margao police.
Vinod claimed that these traders are selling duplicate goods to innocent tourists coming to the Margao markets.
The Association has demanded their immediate removal from the Market areas.
