PANJIM: FC Neura and United SC Mardol played out a 2-2 draw in the Second Division league play-offs organised by Goa Football Association (GFA) played at Agassaim ground on Sunday.
The Neura side opened the tally in the 4th minute of the game itself through Sainath Kalangutkar. The Neura side was strong up front as they went on to double their just before half time through Jowet Barretto as they lead 2-0 at half time.
But in the second half, United SC Mardol came out strong with Shivam Bhadve reducing the margin in the 54th minute.
Joel Barreto came out with the all-important equaliser in the 83rd minute as both teams shared points.
In another game held at Duler ground, Dunes SC edged past Sinquerim Sports Club 1-0.
Shashank Ashwelkar scored the all important goal for the winners in the 79th minute.
