CANACONA, AUG 17 A 52-year-old musician from Idhar-Poinguinim was feared drowned in Galgibaga river on Tuesday afternoon.

A 52-year-old musician from Idhar-Poinguinim was feared drowned in Galgibaga river on Tuesday afternoon.
According to sources, Mohan Balkrishna Chari alias Gunesh Chari accidentally fell into the river while walking nearby to his residence at Idhar. A local informed that the heavily flowing rivulet passing nearby to his house is said to be main river Galgibaga, but others claimed it as tributary, which later meets Galgibaga River.
According to sources, Chari was feared drowned and was not traced till late Tuesday night.
When contacted, police informed that a missing complaint was registered, as his drowning could not be confirmed as yet. However, police sources informed that it is suspected that Chari fell into the river while he was walking on a footpath nearby to his house at Idhar.
