PORVORIM/BICHOLIM: Household goods and stationery items worth Rs 5 lakh were gutted in separate fire incidents at Nachinola and Bicholim on Thursday.
According to Mapusa Fire station, they received a call at about 12.55 pm stating that fire broke out in the kitchen and store room of the house belonging to Filomena Fernandes at Nachinola. Senior fire station officer D Redkar along with his team and a fire tender rushed to the spot.
