HONDA: A leopard which has terrorised the locals of Honda by attacking their cattle and pets, managed to evade the trap set by Forest department to catch it.
As per the sources, the leopard had attacked and killed a calf in the cowshed belonging to Dhaktu Davane. After the incident was brought to the notice of the Forest department, it laid a trap to catch the wild cat. However, the leopard entered the cowshed belonging to Sakshi Davane and attacked a buffalo. Sakshi’s husband Mulu Davane also informed that the leopard took away four of their pet dogs.

Locals are worried as the leopard has managed to constantly dodge the trap and could attack more animals as well as the villagers.
