Cabinet approves Cortalim road diversion work of Rs 12 crore

PANJIM: The State Cabinet on Wednesday approved the award of works worth Rs 12 cr for construction of a diversion road from Cortalim to Santrant slope on account of the closure of the NH-17 or construction of Zuari bridge. The Cabinet approved the tender of Thasma Construction Pvt Ltd, amounting to Rs 2,93,28,656.63 for the road.

In another approval the Cabinet gave its nod for Jay Jay Consultants amounting to Rs 94,99,696 for “safety measures, signages, information boards and road furniture’s, for 4 packages/5 routes”. The Cabinet also approved Rs 12,50,48,375.54 for Dilip Buildcon Ltd – MBZ(JV) for Konkan Railway acquired land below Cortalim RUB NH-17 A – Cortalim Junction (NH-17).          

The Cabinet also cleared a proposal of Land Marc Construction amounting to Rs 11,11,17,784.68 for construction of Civil and Criminal Court Building at Margao, in Fatorda constituency.
