Urban Development Minister, Joaquim Alemao has said it is not possible to formulate a policy on Municipal ward reservation at such a late stage and any delay in reserving the wards would only cause injustice to the OBC and ST population.
Reacting to the demand made by Leader of the Opposition Manohar Parrikar that the government should formulate a policy on ward reservation to avoid arbitrariness, Alemao recalled that reservation of seats for the OBC and STs was announced by the government in the House.
