MAPUSA: Mitra Veterans had to wait for the penalty shoot before they got the better of Benaulim veteran’s by 4-2 margin in the All-Goa Veterans Football tournament, organised by Bardez Veterans, on Wednesday.
Benaulim went into the breather with a goal margin. Raju was the goal scorer with a neat placement, 1-0.
On crossing ends Mitra equalised through Bennit, 1-1. With the match ending in a 1-1 draw the penalty shootout was enforced where Mitra won by 3-1 margin.
