Collem youth injured in mishap

A 20-year-old youth from Collem was injured, after the scooter which he was riding rammed into a compound wall at Pikalewadi, Collem-Mollem road, late Sunday evening.
According to Collem Police Inspector Manoj Madolkar, one Cladroy D’Costa was proceeding from Mollem to Collem on his Dio scooter (GA-O8-F-0577).
On reaching at a dangerous curve near Pikalewadi-Collem, D’Costa lost control over the scooter and rammed into the compound wall.
Collem Police HC Pralhad Mirashi rushed to the spot and shifted D’Costa to ID Hospital, Ponda, from where he was referred to GMC Hospital in Bambolim.
