CURCHOREM: BJP candidates Suvarna Tendulkar and Nayan Shelko filed their nominations for the Sanvordem seat in the forthcoming ZP polls.
Tendulkar and Shelko submitted their nominations to presiding officer and Dharbandora Deputy Collector Sagun Velip. The Sanvordem ZP seat is reserved for women candidate and Sukhanti Gaonkar and Sudhiksha Naik also filed nominations as independents.
For Dharbandora ZP seat, Govind Kushta Gaonkar and Ashok Vishram Gaonkar filed their nominations as BJP candidates, while Govind Sawant and Gautam Sawant filed nomination as independents.
Quepem Deputy Collector Shanker Gaonkar informed that no candidate has filed nomination for Barcem seat and Xeldem ZP, which is reserved for women candidate, only Sujata Gauns Dessai filed her nomination.
