PONDA: Eight of the 11 panchas of the Bandora Panchayat have moved a no-confidence motion against sarpanch Ramchandra Naik.
They submitted the no-confidence motion notice to Ponda Block Development Officer (BDO) citing reasons that the sarpanch is not taking them into confidence while carrying out development works.

Panchas namely Ajay Naik, Nitesh Mulvi, Vishaka Gaude, Rajendra Naik, Zahirrudin Mulla, Saisha Naik, Saloni Gaude and Bhaskar Naik are signatories to the motion.
