Orlim Sports Club thrashed United Club of Utorda 3-0 in GFA’s Third Division play-offs at Curtorim ground on Thursday. Orlim were leading 1-0 at half time.
Orlim dominated the proceedings and opened their account in the 38th minute when Elvis Fernandes punished the rival keeper with a snap shot.
Crossing over, Orlim enjoyed a lion share of exchanges and Elvis who played a stellar role for Orlim, struck a second time in the 58th minute to register his brace.
Denzil Rogtao rounded off the tally in the 76th minute.
In another match at Nagoa ground, Sporting Club of Davorlim routed Carmona Sports Club 7-2 on Thursday. Davorlim led 3-0 at half time.
Davorlim dictated terms and went into the lead in the 23rd minute when William Niasso beat the rival keeper with a deft placement. William Niasso, who played a pivotal role for Davorlim registered his brace in the 26th minute. Careen Miranda put the issue beyond doubt at the stroke of lemon break.
Changing ends, Davorlim continued their winning streak and pumped three more goals through Preston Silva scoring twice in the 52nd and 60th. Paxton Gomes made it 7-0 in the 77th minute. Carmona reduced the margin through Paxton D’Sa in the 64th and Hayston Dias in the 80th.
