CURCHOREM: Don Bosco Farm HS, Sulcorna edged past Guardian Angel HSS, Curchorem 1-0 to emerge champions of Quepem Taluka under-17 Subroto Mukerjee girls football tournament organized by DSYA at panchayat ground, Sheldem, Tilamol, Monday. There was no score at half time.
Striker Sumitra Gaonkar scored the match-winner for Don Bosco.
Football coach Marino Dias was the chief guest and gave away the certificates in the presence of Rector of Don Bosco HS Fr Edwin Baracho, match commissioner Menino Fernandes and APEO John Fernandes.
