DULER: One Ramesh Mhalsekar (42) was arrested for snatching the purse of a woman at Vision Multi specialty Hospital, Duler-Mapusa on Monday.
The accused is a resident of Sattari and had come to the hospital for treatment where he snatched the purse of a woman and tried to flee. The victim woman raised an alarm alerting the hospital security guard and the locals, who caught and handed over the accused to the police.
The Investigating Officer Mayur told Herald that police received a call about the crime at 2.20 pm after which they went to the spot and arrested the accused, who was later released on bail.
