St Rita HS batted first and scored 153 runs with Yuvraj Singh scoring 32 while Yogesh Kavtankar and Prajyoth Kamblee scored 30 runs each. In reply, Bhatikar Model HS managed 152 runs. Digesh Raikar scored 70, Ganesh HT scored 44 runs. Man-of-the-final was awarded to Yogesh Kavtankar of St Rita HS.
Ponda MLA Lavoo Mamlatdar, cricketer Swapnil Asnodkar, GVM’s General Body President Bhaskhar Khandeparkar, Working Committee President Krishna Sheyte, Almeida Highschool PTA Chairman Geetali Talavlikar, Head Master Nilima Zamble, Vishwas Prabudesai, Sandeep Khaunte , Hanukant Naik, were present. The winners were awarded with Rs 10,000 and a rolling trophy while the runners-up will take home Rs 7,000 and a trophy.
Digesh Raikar of Bhatikar HS was the highest scorer in the tournament with 154 runs. Anish Mardolkar was awarded best bowler for taking highest wickets. Man-of-the-series went to Piyush Yadav of St Rita HS. All together, 16 top school teams participated in the tournament.
