PANJIM: The Goa Football Association (GFA) have expressed shock over the brutal attack on Salgaocar FC secretary, RAJ Gomes and his wife in an daring armed robbery in the wee hours of Tuesday morning at their residence in Cupem, Nuvem.
“RAJ and his wife are doing well now. I am sure they will fight back and come back stronger. Raj has been a pioneer of the planning process in GFA. The football fraternity is praying for their speedy recovery and hopes that the culprits will be brought to justice without any delay”, stated GFA president Elvis Gomes in a press release.
