PANJIM: Bharatiya Janata Party’s Taleigao mandal on Tuesday submitted a memorandum to the Public Works Department demanding the completion of repairs and hot mixing of the village roads on a priority.
The delegation led by Taleigao block president Dattaprasad Naik expressed fears that the bad condition of the roads could prove dangerous. The group also charged that the PWD had not heeded to their previous request on the issue.
“…As promised by you, to float the tender of hot-mixing of all roads of Taleigao within 15 days, that is by December 15, 2014, it is more than a month and nothing has been published as yet, in any of the local dailies,” the memorandum reads.
