Missing Pune car found in city

A Mercedes car that was reported missing at Pune Police Station was found in Panjim near Old Secretariat complex on Saturday, Panjim town police informed. The 50-lakh worth car MH-12-FP-8691 was found abandoned near the vital installation and the Panjim police on inquiries found it was reported missing at Chatursingh police station at Pune.
The car, which is 305 model of the elite white Mercedes Benz interestingly did not bear the registration number on the front.
Pune police were intimated who later drove the car back to Pune to hand it over to its original owner.
Meanwhile, the culprits who drove the car to Goa and later dumped in the city, are yet to be traced.
