MAPUSA: Calangute Police on Tuesday arrested a 30-year-old West Bengal native one Jahurul Sarkar at Porba Vaddo, Calangute for possessing narcotic substance suspected to be ganja worth Rs 1,33,800.
According to Calangute PI Nolasco Raposo, a team headed by him comprising PSI Navin Dessai, head constables Vinod Naik and Devidas Haldankar, constables Vinay Shrivastav, Suresh Naik, Dinesh Morajkar and Rupesh Salgaonkar conducted raid on March 16 at Porba Vaddo, Calangute and apprehended the accused for possessing the narcotic substance suspected to be ganja worth Rs 1,33,800.
