“Attempts by any group or section to disturb the peace and tranquility by means other than democratic, shall be met with full force of law,” the Governor assured the House during her inaugural address Monday morning.
“Goa is an example of harmony and tranquility and my government believes in strengthening the bonds of amity through peaceful resolution of disputes and differences through dialogue and discussions,” Sinha said. Governor said that to enable the law enforcement agency to effectively discharge their duties, her government has made all efforts to enhance the capabilities of Goa police by augmenting infrastructure and modernization of the police force.
“I take great satisfaction in mentioning that while effectively keeping law and order situation under control, the government has also paid extra attention on issues relating to security of women in Goa,” she said.
