Prajot Arondekar broke the deadlock for Assonora in the 17th minute of play, scoring through a fine solo effort, 1-0. Crossing over Assonora were all over their rival territory and fired in two more goals through Milind Shinde and Pradeep Naik to round off the score tally to 3-0.

MAPUSA: Assonora United Football Club had an easy outing as they eased past St Mathew’s, Assosim 3-0 to move into the semi-finals of the Late Pramodini Dattaram Palyekar Soccer Cup organized by Football Club of Siolim at Siolim church ground, on Thursday.
