MARGAO: The feast of the Holy Spirit was celebrated with pomp and gaiety at Holy Spirit Church, Margao on Sunday.
Delhi Archbishop Anil Couto was the main celebrant for the high Mass besides other concelebrants.
Fr Lucio Dias, Episcopal Vicar of South Goa stressed on the gifts of the Holy Spirit, Mother Mary’s faith and the descending of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles. He called upon the faithful to practice faith through actions and understand the Word of God by reading the Bible daily.
He urged the faithful to become the channels of peace and love.
