Assonora took the lead through Atish Gaonkar while Sebastian Almeida doubled the score in the 26th minute.
Post resumption, Assonora dominated the proceedings but lacked finishing. They missed over five clear chances to score as Sebastian, Ashish, Ashirvad and Vijit failed to convert.
With this win, Assonora have gathered 10 points and are in the running with Goan Warriors FC, BAFF and St Sebastian SC for a place in the play-off.
