PANJIM: A day after Goa Forward Party (GFP) chief and TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai said that he has Plan-B ready to ensure that the government continues, PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar took a jibe at him saying “if he has a plan he should form the government.”
Reacting to Sardesai’s statement, Dhavalikar said one should know what he is talking about.
“If TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai has Plan-B ready then he should form the government,” Dhavalikar said in a one line statement.
Dhavalikar’s party Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party, had demanded that Art and Culture Minister, Govind Gaude be sacked for his outbursts against the PWD Minister at a Cabinet meeting last week.
The MGP had warned the chief minister that if he failed to sack Gaude, “they may have to take a decision.”
Reacting to that, Sardesai, a coalition partner in the government, on Tuesday said that he has Plan-B ready in case someone wants to withdraw support and “will ensure continuity of the government.”

No need of plans as of now: Khaunte
Following the ongoing verbal duel between MGP’s Sudin Dhavalikar and Goa Forward’s Vijai Sardesai, Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte said that the State government under Manohar Parrikar was very stable and there was no need for any plan. “When the government is stable, then why do we (need to) talk of any plans,” Khaunte said reacting to Vijai’s comment that he has Plan-B ready in case anyone withdraws support to government. Khaunte said there is no need for such talks or reactions as of now. “When time comes we will talk about it, but at the moment the government under CM Parrikar is stable. If any plans are there, I think it will come when it is required,” he stated.
