MAPUSA: Youth Sports Club of Colvale demolished Candolim Sports Club 6-0 in GFA’s 3rd Division league Bardez zone play-off semi-finals at Sangolda ground, Tuesday. Colvale led 1-0 at the breather.
The young Colvale side surprised their critics and booked berth in next season’s Bardez Zone Second Division League with a bang.
Olvino Miranda gave Colvale the lead in the 38th minute and Adv Domnic Pereira’s side came back strongly in the second session, scoring five times.
Vichal Vazgankar, Agnelo D’Souza (2 each), Floyd Fernandes and Aidan Fernandes scored one each.
