CANACONA: Goa Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (GSSA), Canacona organised training programme for parents representing school management committees of various government primary schools on initiatives in school education.
During the introductory session, the parents were informed that the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan is responsible for implementing the Central schemes of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan and Teacher Education.
While the key note address was delivered by Dr Manoj Kamat, an academician and orator of repute.
Nitu Desai spoke on importance of parents’ role in moulding a child.
Earlier, ADEI Ganesh Shet welcomed and later thanked the parents for participating wholeheartedly in the programme.
