SATTARI: A tiger was caught on camera moving in the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary in Surla village.

In all, three tigers have been spotted moving in Surla, Chorla and Hulund in Karnataka wildlife area.
The tiger, which was captured on camera in Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary in Surla, was earlier spotted in Golauli.
It may be recalled that earlier there were five big cats however, four were found dead last year.
According to forest department sources, the tiger captured, which was captured on camera in Surla, has already attacked two buffaloes.
Assistant Conservator of Forest Tejasvini and Round Forest Officer, Narayan Prabhudessai visited the site and compensated one Devu Pingle.
Renowned environmentalist Rajendra Kerkar said, “The Forest Department should take urgent steps to restrain people from visiting the waterfalls in the remote areas of the sanctuary due to the presence of tiger and increase patrolling.”
