ATM catches fire in Baina

Vasco: An ATM housed on the ground floor of a building in Baina caught fire and resulted in a loss of at least Rs 1 lakh . The Bank of India ATM fire also spread to a car parked and 2, two-wheeler vehicles causing extensive damage to the vehicles. 
The Bank of India ATM at Baina reportedly caught fire at around 1.30 am in at midnight. The fire engulfed the shop in which it was housed and a car parked outside the ATM. By the time Fire brigade reached the site the shop was gutted in fire. The reason for the fire is not known. The Fire fighting team ascertained a loss of at least Rs 1 lakh and property. Frantic people worried of the fire spreading in the building above. However the fire was contained and property worth Rs. 5 lakhs approximately was saved.
