A residential house was stoned and two two-wheelers were left damaged
in rioting between two groups near Cine Lata late Monday.

questioned a group of persons for blocking the road. Arguments later
broke out between the two rival groups which later culminated in the
stoning of the house and damaging of the two-wheelers parked outside
the house.
Vishal Naik and others later rushed to the Margao police station to
complain that a rival group has damaged their house and vehicles.
PSI Suraj told Herald that the complainant and other members of the
group were referred to Hospicio for medical examination.
He said a case will be registered only after the accused are medically
examined.
Meanwhile, the Margao police have started patrolling the migrant
inhabited Cine Lata area as a precautionary measure. Further
investigations are in progress.
